How to cook quinoa & rice

We find it to be the easiest way to get the fluffiest result.
- 2 cups quinoa or rice
- Rinse the quinoa or rice using a mesh colander. Add to a small pot and cover with 4 cups of water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, then decrease the heat to maintain a gentle simmer. Cook with the lid on until the quinoa/rice has absorbed all of the water, about 10 to 20 minutes.
- Remove the pot from the heat and let the quinoa/rice steam for 5 minutes. Remove the pot from the lid and fluff the quinoa or rice with a fork.
